About us and club information
We run nearly every Sunday (weather allowing) and have the benefit of the only under cover pitting area in South wales (probably the whole of Britain). A toilet and sink are situated in the farm yard and a permenant barbeque is on site for your use. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing to the track as it can get muddy/cold or wet (and of course hot and sunny!). A nice big flask or other drinks comes in handy. No alcohol is allowed. The track is run in a clockwise direction and features many jumps, rumble strips and chicanes etc. The track is all grass, except where it has been worn away and the mud is exposed. Due to the relative softness of the racing surface, tyre wear is minimal and so are damages. Lap times are around 35 seconds for the quick drivers and goes down to over a minute for the slower ones. A second track is planned for later this year and will cater for the younger drivers and electric racers. This new track will be completely made from astroturf, so will be usable at all times of the year. BOOKING IN IS BETWEEN 10AM AND 11AM All club members and drivers must book in before 11am and are expected to help with grass cutting and track preperation (this takes about 30mins). All the adults that do so will recieve a £4 discount off their race fees. Anyone who does book in late, will up untill 12noon be allocated a place where possible. Anyone turning up after 12noon will be allowed to race, but they will not be entered onto the computer, so their laps won't be counted. You may book in by texting 07812 115259 before 12noon with your name and class your entering. Please note that "engines will not be allowed to be started" until race control acknowledges the track is ready and announces that the track is open. CLUB RULES
